Rick Valdez
Founder and managing partner
Rick is the founder and managing partner of Corsair and works closely with business owners and key staff members of clients served by the firm. He is experienced in the conversion, implementation, support and documentation of computer networks and enterprise accounting software systems. Rick also serves as the outsourced Chief Information Officer (CIO) for several small closely held businesses and nonprofit organizations. Rick is familar with Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Blackberry Enterprise Servers, Server Virtualization, Disaster Recovery and Cloud Computing. In addition to his experience with computer networks and accounting software applications, Rick also has serves as the engagement partner for enterprise website conversions and implementations. Prior to founding Corsair, Rick owned a highly successful accounting software consulting firm specializing in mid-market enterprise software applications. Clients included several medical practices, small rural hospitals, closely held businesses and non profit organizations.
Tim Perrone
Managed IT consultant
Tim Perrone is a managed IT consultant, and a recent addition to the Corsair team. Tim has an extensive background in client relations and customer service. He greatly enjoys working for a small business that caters to other small businesses. Tim always says, “Local is the answer!” Tim’s background includes retail banking, mortgage sales and IT tech support for Microsoft Exchange Clients. He is originally from Houston, but has a long family history here in South Austin that dates back to the early 1900’s. Aside from talking to small business owners about IT solutions, Tim is an avid baseball fan and plays third base in a local league.
