My company’s humble beginnings began when I started a bookkeeping and tax service company. It was 1982 and personal computers were being introduced to small and midsized businesses. I was fortunate to have built my business through referrals from a local banker who introduced me to a medical practitioner and a dentist. From there, I continued to get more referrals from the doctors and as you will see, the referrals kept coming!

Accounting Software Consultancy

I’ve always been an early adopter of technology and I quickly became an expert accounting software user. I was introduced to CYMA Accounting Software in the late 80’s and eventually became an accounting software dealer for CYMA, MediSoft and MAS90. I received 99% of my referrals from Charleen Cullon, my CYMA Software Account Executive. Charleen was essentially my Chief Revenue Officer! I didn’t advertise and I didn’t even have a website and I was one of the top 50 accounting software dealers in the USA. I frequently traveled to CYMA headquarters in Tempe, Arizona and enjoyed a mutually beneficial working relationship with Charleen. Charleen eventually moved to Medisoft, a medical practice software application. And in no time, Charleen referred me to more healthcare professionals. Consequently, this is how and why my bookkeeping and tax service evolved into an accounting software consultancy where we offered accounting software support and assistance with month end closing, for a fixed monthly price. To this day, I have several accounting software clients that have been there since the late 80’s and early 90’s.

 
 
 

Consulting & Managed Services

It wasn’t long before I saw a niche market for supporting computer networks with accounting servers. The accounting software consultancy then morphed into a Consulting & Managed Services Company. This expanded our offering to include accounting software support, network monitoring, security and server support, desktop support, managed website hosting, VoIP services, IT project management and custom software development.

Joseph (Joey) R. Valdez

Joey is responsible for management and monitoring of all client networks. This includes making sure that servers and critical workstations have the latest operating system software installed and backed up. He has more than ten years of experience in managing computer networks which includes troubleshooting, installation, configuration and maintenance of desktops and servers. He has experience working with best in class software applications like Office 365, Acronis Backup & Disaster Recovery, GoTo VoIP Systems and Virtualized Servers in a VM Ware environment.

Eric (Rick) J. Valdez

Rick has more than 30 years of experience in working with health care providers, non-profit organizations, and wholesale distributors. This includes accounting software support, ADP payroll, HR and overall management and integration of technology environments for both on-premises and cloud environments. Rick is on his second three year term on the board of directors for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving the Heart of Texas.

Max got his start as a young pup, maintaining security for the Valdez family. When the doorbell rings, he’s the first to answer. He’s also the first one in the pool, does a mighty fine belly flop and takes his job quite seriously.
